only drug addicts use PCs

welcome to my website, which is nothing more than a collection of yadayada that a small group of deranged people might be interested in.  this site was developed on my mac, but i’m no purist.  i will say that macs are indeed more stable than pcs, but only because they run a version of UNIX, which is an OS that is at least 25 years old, and even today is the best, most stable operating system there is.  But mind you, macs are not perfect;  mine locks up every now and then, sometimes so hard that you have to power it down.  Real unix would never let that happen.  BTW, i think unix was written in C, which was written in C.  no kidding.  C is the only real language, except for assembly language, but that is only necessary for “real” work, like skinny does with complicated electronics.

I used to be a balloon pilot, but not much more nowdays, it’s just a dying sport it seems.  Instead, i spend most of my time soldering.  From an “interesting person” perspective, i’ve dropped a few thousand percent i’d say.  who cares about soldering.
