I take photographs as another way to spend money on cameras, lenses and other sorts of unnecessary items.

I’m only interested in people, faces, and of course, my gatos, because to me, the human face is a thousand times more interesting than any silly mountain.  Pictures of majestic mountains and snow covered flowers just don’t really inspire people because it is impossible to capture that feeling on a 2d surface. 

The photos you see on my site are raw.  they have not been retouched in any way using photoshop or anything else.  The exception is conversion to 8 bit  grayscale and some grain on occasion. Otherwise, they are direct from the camera.  I have nothing against retouch, it can be very creative, and most photographers do this.  but it is just “not my bag, baby”
